San Diego is an interesting town
You have the main nightlife area around the Gaslamp Quarter
Personally, I wouldn’t stay there
We had homeless people start encroaching on us at 11 AM
The area is filled with homeless but if you are just going to party then this is the area to stay in
Albeit it is also in the center of San Diego so you can go north to places like La Jolla
You can also go visit the nearby Zoo or go to Coronado Island
I stayed on Coronado Island at the Loews Hotel there
